ESPN EXP PRO-AM APEX LEGENDS

The Brief.

As free-to-play battle royale games took the world by storm, with the launch of Apex Legends in February 2019, EA and ESPN looked to showcase the brand new FPS in a star-studded esports Pro-Am featuring the best in gaming and sport.

The Execution.

This was the first LAN event for Apex Legends, with stars across the gaming world taking part for a $25,000 charity donation – including DrDisrespect, HusKers and Nick Eh 30. Covered by Goldenboy, Dreadnaught and Victoria Arlen, the exhibition was nominated for a Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Esports Championship Coverage.
